DIRECTOR OF COLLEGE RECRUITING & COACH

Troy Kemp is a native of Riverhead, NY. He grew up as one of six children in a single parent, migrant working household. Troy graduated fromRiverhead Sr. High Schooland attended Colgate University, where he played football for four years and was introduced to the sport of lacrosse.

After Colgate, Troy begin his career at the Wilmington Friends School, in Delaware. At Friends, Troy served as a math teacher and computer coordinator while coaching football and lacrosse. In 1992, Troy moved to Chattanooga and began working at McCallie School as a math teacher, dorm parent, and coached football and lacrosse.

At McCallie, Troy won numerous awards for teaching and mentoring students. He is an eight-time state champion and three-time coach of the year recipient in lacrosse.  Troy also helped McCallie win the 2001 Division II football state championship. In 2005, Troy became the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. In 2015, Troy was appointed to the position of Associate Headmaster for Enrollment and Marketing.
In July 2016, Troy left his position at McCallie to become the Executive Director of the National Center for the Development of Boys. The organization was established, by McCallie to improve the lives of boys by providing resources and programs for parents, teachers, mentors and organizations committed to helping with their learning and development as they journey to manhood. Troy volunteers as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chattanooga. He and his wife, Diane have been married for twenty-four years and have three amazing children.

Nation United is a minority owned and operated organizaion dedicated to increasing diversity in sports through elite level competition, team building, and community service.

All players are selected by Nation United staff via our application portal, or in person evaluation at one of our camps or yearly Summit.

No.  We are always reviewing applicants.

Yes.  We handle requests on an individual basis.

YES!  We actually encourage you to continue playing with your current club team. 

We have an incredible staff of coaches with experience at all levels, from Youth through professional.  Although we like the continuity of keeping our coaches with specific teams it is not always possible.

Our teams do not practice regularly. We will typically schedule a practice the day before any competitive event.

Our  fees change based on the following: travel of various events, coaching staff and number of players invited.
