Why I Chose Nation United:
I’m serious about playing lacrosse at the next level and am always looking for ways to get better by playing with people who challenge me. I would love to play with more people who look like me and would love to represent an organization that is vocal about diversity. I’m excited to have the opportunity to play with an organization where I won’t be the minority.
What Makes Me an Ambassador:
I strive to do well in everything I do on the field as well as in the classroom. I have a 4.0 GPA up to this point with AP and honors courses and have worked vigorously to make the top LB3 elite team after only 2 seasons of travel lacrosse. I also see myself as a committed team player, I’m always finding time to go to the field and frequently get my teammates to join me.
How I Impact My Community:
Before I transferred to McCallie, I was very active in the community at my prior school in Greater Atlanta Christian. I won the GACS Citizenship Award as a freshman, and also participated in two mission trips at GAC in Seven Bridges (Atlanta, Ga), and with a Vacation Bible School in Ecuador. I also served on the GACS Unity Prefect Committee, which planned events unifying not only the GAC community but helping with service events such as the Special Olympics. While regular service work has been put on hold due to Corona, I am excited to continue my service at McCallie once things begin to go back to normal.
