Why I Chose Nation United:
I think it would be a great opportunity to learn new perspectives on the way people look at life and the game of lacrosse. Also, I want to grow as a person, expand my lacrosse skills, and compete for a great team.
What Makes Me an Ambassador:
I try to be an ambassador to the game by volunteering my time to help coach the junior high program. There I provide my insight and help the goalies and defense. I also help the developmental program where I coach the kindergarten- second graders. I having been volunteering with the junior high program since I was a freshman.
How I Impact My Community:
I am currently The Woodlands High Student Body Vice President which helps lead the student council group. Here I help plan and guide activities that lift morale in the community and in the student body. When my classmates and I go back to school, I have planned for myself and other members in stuco to do regent care bingo, where we go to assistant living centers and play bingos with residents (COVID pending). Also, I have planned for the student council to do a chalk the walk for the first day of in-person classes, where the student council chalks the parking lot to try to help brighten the student’s morale during these hard times.
