Why I Chose Nation United:
Being an African American Lacrosse player, joining a team like Nation United allows me to represent the values of diversity that they spread every time they play. It is a personal goal of mine to play the sport at a level that prepares me for college, and as an added plus, I get to play the game with others that care about the sport as much as me and with players that look just like me.
What Makes Me an Ambassador:
When I play, I look to represent how limitless and hardworking a lacrosse player can be regardless of color. Lacrosse to me, gave me a new opportunity to prove how successful an African American Lacrosse player can be. My code is to play humble and let my playing do the talking. Academics are also of the utmost importance. I know that without the proper credentials, I will not have the chance to play at the top programs or simply play at the next level that I look to play at.
How I Impact My Community:
At St. Mark’s I am apart of the Community Service Board. As one of the chairman on the board, I coordinate, set up, and participate in community service events and activities across the Dallas community. In addition to this, I also help facilitate and fund St. Mark’s class programs and events around the school area.
