Why I Chose Nation United:
Nation United goes beyond just lacrosse. Nation betters their athletes on and off the field all while promoting diversity in our great game. Diversity is a huge part of how my parents raised me, I have a Hispanic mom and my dad has very many ethnicities in him. My family also adopted my sister from Africa last year. To play on a team that promotes diversity means something.
What Makes Me an Ambassador:
I love lacrosse, it’s the creator’s game and it is not like any other sport. I play the game with joy every time I get the chance because it’s just fun. I love competition, teamwork, and hard work involved in the sport.
How I Impact My Community:
For Christmas, our oilers team did a gift drive and wrapping for a church. At esd, we have to have 25 hours of community service completed by our sophomore year.
